While these two floor coverings can provide extra durability to your facility, there are important differences that can have certain benefits for your procurement and renovations.
Design – Functionality vs. Flexibility
Both types of resilient flooring have unique appearances. VCT flooring is available in a limited range of solid colors, while LVT comes in a wider range of patterns and colors, providing much more design flexibility. Maintenance – Polish and Shine
Both flooring types require regular cleaning and maintenance, but VCT requires more attention and care. VCT should be cleaned and polished regularly to maintain its shine. LVT, on the other hand, can be cleaned easily with a damp cloth and simple ingredients for noticeable stains, with most LVT options not requiring waxing. If you need an affordable flooring option for a high-traffic area that is easy to maintain, then VCT is an excellent choice. For more designer friendly and durable floor coverings, LVT may be a better choice in your space.
